Vietnam Visa Exemptions
Vietnam offers Visa Exemptions ranging from 14 to 90 days to citizens of 23 countries holding valid ordinary passports. The full list of countries with Visa Exemptions is below.
TIP: All nationalities traveling directly to Phu Quoc Island can visit the island for 30 days visa-free. To do this you will need to show a return ticket on arrival in Vietnam.

Notes on visa exemptions:
- The Vietnam exemptions listed above for the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy are valid until June 30, 2021.
- The Vietnam exemptions for Belarus is valid until June 30, 2020.
- British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders are not eligible for the 15-day free Visa Exemption. Hence, it is required to apply for a visa to visit Vietnam.
- Foreign passports are exempt from visa requirements to Phu Quoc island for no longer than 30 days. If they transit through other international airports in Vietnam before arriving Phu Quoc, they are still eligible for the Vietnam exemption.
- In order to enter Vietnam as a unilateral Vietnam Visa Exemption, foreigners must have a valid passport with at least 06 months and must be at least 30 days from the time of their previous exit from Vietnam.
