Vietnam E-visa or Vietnam Electronic Visa has been introduced by the Vietnam Immigration Department since  2017. This kind of Vietnamese visa is applied and issued online.

A Vietnam Electronic Visa is valid for 30 days only with single entry only.

Entering by the land port from Laos, Vietnam Electronic visa is now available for eight of the following borders.

1. Bo Y

Bo Y border gate is an international border gate in Po Y commune, Kon Tum province, Vietnam. Bo Y border gate is the end of Highway 40 in Vietnam, connecting with Highway 11 of Laos.

2. Cau Treo

Cau Treo border gate is an international road border gate in the land of Ha Tinh province, Vietnam.

Cau Treo border gate usually goes to Namphao international border gate in Khamkheuth district, Bolikhamxai province, Laos.

3. Cha Lo

Cha Lo border gate is an international border gate on Mu Gia Pass in the land of Quang Binh province, Vietnam.

Cha Lo border gate is the end of National Road 12A in Vietnam, usually going to Naphao border gate in Bualapha district, Khammuane province, Laos.

4. Lao Bao

Lao Bao border gate is an international road border in Quang Tri province, Vietnam. Lao Bao border gate is usually connected with the Den Savanh border gate of Laos, located next to the Sepon river.

Lao Bao Special Economic - Commercial Area is one of the most important border-gate economic zones in Vietnam. Opposite Lao Bao Special Economic - Commercial Area across the border is Den Savanh border trade area of Laos. These two areas are an important node on the East-West Economic Corridor.

5. Nam Can

Nam Can is a mountainous commune of Ky Son district, Nghe An. There is Nam Can International Border Gate, respectively, in Laos, there is Namkan Border Gate in Muang Nong Het area of Xieng Khouang Province, which is the last point of Highway 7 in Vietnam.

6. Tay Trang

Tay Trang border gate is an international border gate in the land of Dien Bien province, Vietnam. Tay Trang border gate usually goes to Pang Hok border gate, also known as Sop Hun border gate (Sop Hun), Laos.

Tay Trang border gate and Tay Trang pass are the endpoints of Highway 279 on the Vietnam-Laos border.

7. La Lay

La Lay Border Gate is an international border gate in the countryside of Quang Tri Province, Vietnam. La Lay border gate is common to Lalay border gate in Sa Mouay district, Salavan province, Laos.

8. Na Meo

Na Meo border gate is an international road crossing in the territory of Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam. Na Meo border gate is the end of Highway 217, crossing the bridge on the Nam Bo line, which is usually connected to Namsoi border gate in Viengxay district, Huaphanh province, Laos.
